MAMUT ART PROJECT 2016

Mamut Art Project 2016, sponsored by Akkök Holding, will take place between 21-24 April. Mamut Art Project, which comes with spring every year and revitalizes the young art environment, is opening a space for 52 young artists this year. Bringing together the original works of promising names from different disciplines, the jury of Mamut Art Project 2016 consisted of Banu Gündoğdu, Ömer M. Koç, Erinç Seymen, Ali Şimşek and Fatoş Üstek. 955 applications were made to take part in the Mamut Art Project. The artists selected by the jury among the applications and their works will be exhibited at the venue sponsor KüçükÇiftlik Park between 21-24 April. Mamut Art will also stage a 2-day workshop this year, as well as a series of special performances within the event.

Applications for the Mamut Art Project came from outside Turkey, as well as from the USA, Iran, Germany, Sweden, England, Poland and Ukraine this year. Selected works include new media, installation, performance, illustration, photography, sound installation, street arts, sculpture, video, print, painting and bio-art works, digital and interactive projects.
