TAMED VOICES

Tamed: It means "trained, pet" as well as "harmonized in an isolated area, learned behavior by training". Although domestication may seem like it's for other animals, it's very similar in goals and methods to the way we train children. Family / school / community educations turn into the wild and incompatible raw child to the individual harmonious and domesticated with periodic methods.

School songs are another way of "teaching by entertaining" supporting these educations. The child is expected to learn the desired and undesirable behaviors with the lyrics sung on the harmonic and rhythmic harmony of the music. In addition to learning many things that can benefit the child from these songs, unfortunately, he also learns the oppressive rules of the political agenda, religion, family and society. With this learning, the child's questioning mechanism is disabled and they turn into individuals who cannot produce original and free ideas.

OTHER SIDE

Despite the model child-student type idealized by the songs in the "Domestic Voices" series, the children on the "Other Side" are the defective products of this production line. Although the school prepares individual education plans to attract the attention of those on the "other side" and "integrate them into society", these "remedial" plans cannot be implemented due to lack of budget, physical conditions and dedication. In a way, the state, and even society, is not very willing to devote time to the "acquisition" of those on the other side. Those on the other side are the school's equivalent of the casualties that every factory can ignore.

The name of this series is synonymous with the "other side", which is colloquially referred to as the place where the dead go. This place is uncommunicative. We do not see those who go there again, and they cannot interfere with social life. They are in a silent, disharmonious and chaotic nothingness.
